Overview

Unique Tasmanian designed building on Burnie's waterfront, opened in November 2009. Here you'll find various artists - working in studios and skilled paper makers conducting hand-made paper tours for visitors.

The complex features a gallery and Tasmanian-made gifts are available for sale. Visitors can explore the centre and get a deeper understanding of Burnie and its 75-year connection to paper making. Tap into the local knowledge at the information counter for help with Tasmanian touring ideas or enjoy a coffee in the licensed cafe overlooking the beach.

Open: 7 days-9:00am to 5:00pm
Paper Making Tours depart throughout the day
Duration: allow 45 minutes for paper tour only
Tour price: $15 adult, $8 child, $12 conc. Groups POA
10% discount is offered on purchases to visitors who do a paper making tour.
