General Information
Barossa Vineyard Cottages are newly built, fully self-contained stone cottages located in the heart of the Barossa Valley. There are four cottages, surrounded by vineyards with an outlook to the Barossa Ranges and to the spires of Tanunda. Situated in Bethany, the first settlement in the Valley, the area is steeped in history and boasts of great walks as well as being surrounded by award winning wineries and restaurants.
The cottages were built in the style of the early settlers with outside stone and rendered walls and high ceilings inside but with all the modern comforts. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The cottages have front and rear private verandahs so you can relax and unwind enjoying the wonderful views of the Barossa Ranges, the spires of Tanunda (three kilometres away) or the sunsets that the Barossa is known for. It is especially ideal for romantic getaways.
Each cottage has its own undercover car park with sensor lights for night arrivals.
Everything you require in a kitchen is here: Franke electric oven and gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee maker. Breakfast provisions include: Choice of three cereals, Schulz's double smoked bacon, Fresh eggs from our own hens, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Homemade bread with no preservatives, Butter, choice of Beerenberg spreads, 'Jersey Fresh' milk from the local dairy, Beverages include Pickwick teas, Moccona coffee, hot chocolate and juice.
The Living Room, Bedroom and Bathroom have all the amenities and furnishings to make your stay comfortable and cosy whilst retaining the highest of quality throughout.
In addition to all this guests receive: Complimentary bottle of our estate produced Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot: Barossa Downes', Maggie Beer's p t with 'Barossa Bark' on arrival (minimum two-night stay). Free use of fully equipped laundry consisting of washing machine, dryer, washing powder. Iron/ironing board. Free connection to the internet.
