This museum is located in the old Telegraph Station (1866), Tanunda.

This is an ornate building with Doric columns, standing on the top of the hill. It was completed in 1927 and positioned for excellent views over the surrounding area.

At Angaston, visit the Collingrove Homestead (1850), a National Trust property once owned by the Angas family, the Angas Park Fruit Co, Murray Street.

At Bethany visit the Bethany Reserve, a popular picnic spot by the creek, Lutheran Church (1883), and a fascinating pioneer cemetery.
Gold Trail
The Barossa Goldfield Trail, a two-loop trail within the Para Wirra Recreation Park.
The Whispering Wall
The whispering wall is an acoustic phenomenon created by the curved retaining wall of the Barossa Reservoir. Messages whispered at one end can carry audibly to the other end, 140 metres away. This is also a pleasant picnic spot.

At Lyndoch visit the self-guided heritage walk, stone mill wheel (1855) on display in Flebig Square, and Lyndoch Lavender Farm.

The Herbig Family Tree at Springton is a hollow gum tree that was the first home of Friedrich Herbig, his wife and their two children.

The views of the Barossa Valley from Mengler's Hill Lookout are beautiful.
Hoffnungsthal
The old Valley of Hope where a number of German settlers established a Lutheran congregation in 1847. In 1853 floods wiped out the settlement and the inhabitants moved north to Lyndoch.

Barossa Under the Stars (concert with international performers) in February, Barossa Vintage Festival (Easter, odd-numbered years). Gourmet Barossa in August–September, and the Barossa Music Festival in October.
