  "Positive with suggestion"

  I really enjoyed my stay, particularly the bush aspect.

  **there were not enough power points, there needed to be one down beside the bed or under the mirror in the bedroom

  "A Nice Stay"

  As with the other times I have stayed here, it was lovely. The rooms are reasonable, the service is friendly and hospitable.

  Having only stayed in the back rooms, I do not know how noisy it gets at the front, but the back is quiet and peaceful with a view onto the local bushland.

  My only complaint would be that smokers are encouraged to smoke just outside the rooms, which means if you are a non-smoker you cannot have your door or window open, or sit outside when smokers are around.

  I have not tried the restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food.

  Hi Thanks so much for the great review. Very sorry you found the smoke annoying, we do have a no-smoking policy but at the same time try to make everyone's stay (smokers' included) comfortable, welcoming & friendly. Look forward to seeing you again.... please do try our meals... they are great!

  We felt comfortable and relaxed after a long days drive.A friendly welcome from Hosts David and Diane made our stay more enjoyable.We would certainly recommend the Property to family and friends.

  "Easy to Find and Close to Highway"

  We stayed here for one night on a Cairns to Brisbane road trip. It is very clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. The motel is set back from the highway and our room was out the back, with a courtyard facing onto a quiet paddock. Easy check in and check out. The hosts were very helpful with directions for an easier route to Bundy.

  "True Blue Hospitality!"

  True Blue was easy to find on the way in to Rockhampton. Reception from the hosts was friendly and informative. Parking was excellent - full cover (it was raining hard) and right in front of our unit. Our unit was large, clean and fully equiped with all the little things that make travelling comfortable, the bed was bliss to sleep in, and the surroundings peaceful and quiet. Our hosts provided us with one of the best dinners of our trip, the service was excellent. We even saw a wallaby on the lawn in front of our unit in the early morning, it made for a totally restful stay.

  "True Blue Motel"

  Excellent features, massive covered area for the hot or wet times, large well appointed room. Lovely restaurant, well cooked meals, competitively priced, would recommend it to anyone.

  We have stayed here often and have always been well satisfied with everything.

  "Clean but noisy"

  Motel room was spacious and very clean, but was located at the side of the Bruce Highway and no acustic isolation was present.

  The result was that the room was confortable but too noisy (and a little bit old).

  However, for a one night stay it can works... with a couple of ear caps!

  Thank you to Carlo for his review. We believe it to be a fair description of the standard of the room he booked & which was allocated to him from the few 3.5 star 'standard' rooms we have. The booking he made was for a 'Standard' room at a discounted rate. You only need to book one of our 'Corporate' rooms at the higher rate to be allocated a 4 star room away from the highway. We pride ourselves on the presentation of the motel and invite you back to try one of the 'Corporate' rooms & enjoy our great hospitality again.
